Healthcare Administration Concentration
The healthcare industry is rapidly evolving, and there is a growing need for professionals who can manage complex healthcare systems effectively. Our Healthcare Administration concentration provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, including healthcare policy, management, finance, and quality improvement. With a focus on leadership and strategy, this concentration equips you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and health insurance companies. Our expert faculty bring real-world experience to the classroom, offering you the opportunity to learn from experienced healthcare professionals. The Healthcare Administration concentration is designed for professionals with or without experience in healthcare. Those without healthcare experience will benefit from enrolling in the elective course “The American Healthcare System”.
Digital Transformation Concentration
The rapid growth in digital transformation in healthcare demands that its managers have the appropriate skills to lead the design and implementation of these changes. Our Digital Transformation concentration can equip you with the skills and knowledge to harness the power of digital technologies for strategic advantage. Through coursework in digital strategy, data mining and analytics, health informatics and health information systems, emerging technologies, and organizational change management, you will learn how to develop and execute digital initiatives that create value for customers and stakeholders. Our faculty includes experts with real-world experience in driving digital transformation in a variety of industries. With this concentration, you will be well-prepared to lead your organization into the digital future.
The Digital Transformation Concentration is designed for experienced healthcare professionals, however those without a healthcare background are eligible to apply. Those without healthcare experience will benefit from enrolling in the elective course “The American Healthcare System”.

This program is for professionals with or without a healthcare background who are interested in beginning or advancing their career in healthcare leadership. It is designed for managers or executives in hospital systems and other healthcare organizations who want to leverage cutting-edge practices in digital transformation. It is also designed for healthcare workers who would like a change in career path to one in management in the healthcare industry and professionals outside of healthcare who want to transition into the field. Northeastern faculty from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and the Bouvé College of Health Sciences will co-teach select courses with Mayo Clinic faculty.
