Welcome back. This is module three of the influencer marketing strategy course. And in this module, we're going to cover a wide variety of things but most of them have to do with tools. And we're going to look at several of them. The first is going to be BuzzSumo, and we're going to have an interesting presentation on what you can do with the tool. And then we're going to take a look at another tool called Traackr, and it has some pretty powerful features. And last but not least, we're going to take a look at a tool called DealMaker. And, why so many tools? Well, frankly because each one has strengths and weaknesses, and what I really, really want you to understand is which one to use in which situation, how you might even end up using all of the above in order to solve an interesting problem that this module is focused on, and that problem is, how do you identify the right influencer? So, we're going to start off with the BuzzSumo tool, let me tell you a little bit about it. Identifying these people is hard. As I told you, they don't walk around with name badges. And, how do you discover who they are? Well, for a lot of years we used a tool that doesn't even exist anymore, and it was a really good tool, but that's one of the dangers of becoming a tool of your tools, is you become dependent on them solving a problem for you, and the tool business is actually a pretty bad business model. And if they go under, you're up a creek. So, that's another reason why I want to be sharing with you details about more than one tool. And by the way, I'm just sharing the three ones that I really think you ought to know about, there are a ton more and there are new ones coming along every day. So again, this is not an endorsement per se, these are the only tools that you need to learn to use, these are tools that will give you basic skills, that will enable you to solve a pretty big problem. But you also need to sort of keep in the back of your mind, sometimes tools had often directions that you weren't quite expecting, why? Because they have business models that you can't explain, that's just the way of the world. So, let me tell you a little bit about the tool that does not exist anymore, because it was an interesting one, it's called Buzz logic, and here's what I liked about it. It not only identified the influencers on a particular topic area, that is crucial, that's what we're going to be focusing on in this module. But it also showed you who they used as sources of information. In other words, it gave you information, a sort of a map of the world, and let you see a little bit upstream to see who influenced the influencers, because a lot of influencers are pretty busy, and they don't always respond the first time you ask them to engage with you one way or another. But if you know who they watch like a hawk, you might be able to engage with those, we call them micro influencers. And guess what, if the influencers are watching them like a hawk, then you contact enough micro influencers and the influencers do not want to be left behind. As we told you, they're always looking over their shoulder. And this tool was really terrific, because it lets you know who they were looking at. Great tool. Existed about 10 years ago. A lot of wonderful things with it. The business model of the company was not so great, and they decided to first of all detour into advertising as opposed to influencer identification, and then bad things happened, they changed their name and well anyhow, long story short, the tool isn't available for you today. So, it is both a lesson but a warning. It gives you some concepts that you're going to want to be aware of, but watch out. Okay?
